With the Muscatine Community School District, Joshua has served as a biology teacher and has also created the Educational Media program, a rich, student driven, media-based curriculum that has helped to promote many of the areas local non-profits and community activities/events. Joshua is actively involved with educational reform at both the community and state level, participating in and helping to lead discussions on project-based/design-based thinking within interdisciplinary environments. Joshua is married, has four children, and his hobbies include biking, jogging and camping. Joshua has his Master’s in Science Education from the University of Northern Iowa.
